Effective July 7, 2026 · Gentle Ping is operated by Jonix LLC

Gentle Ping works because you tell Ping about your day. That’s a lot of trust, and we treat it that way. This page explains — in plain words — what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

What we collect

Your messages. The conversations you have with Ping — that’s how replies, check-ins, and your memory timeline work.

Your chat identity. The identifier from the messaging platform you connect with. We don’t ask for a password or create a separate account.

Your email — only if you join the waitlist or write to us.

Credit and usage records. Which messages used credits, so your balance is always right.

How we use it

To help you: your messages are processed by AI language models to generate Ping’s replies, remember your plans, and build your memory timeline.

To run the service: keeping your credit balance accurate, fixing problems, and keeping the service safe.

What we never do

We never sell your data. To anyone. Ever.
We never use your conversations for advertising.
We never share your messages except with the AI providers that power Ping, under strict confidentiality.

Storage & security

Your data is stored encrypted, with access limited to the small team that operates the service. We keep it only as long as your account is active or as needed to run the service.

Our servers are in the United States — that’s where your data is stored and processed. If you use Gentle Ping from outside the US, including mainland China, your messages and account data are transferred to and stored in the US.

Your choices

Ask Ping to forget. You can ask for specific memories to be removed from your timeline, right in the chat.

Export. Ask us for a copy of your data anytime.

Delete everything.Email us and we’ll erase your conversations, timeline, and identity from our systems.
